I am a neuroscientist in Richard Axel’s lab at Columbia University and the Zuckerman Institute. I study how initially unfamiliar and neutral odors become meaningful and valuable for an animal as a consequence of learning. Prior to my postdoctoral work I was a molecular biologist at Harvard University, studying DNA repair in Fred Alt’s lab. I began my journey in science as an undergraduate student in David Schatz’s lab at Yale University.
